At coobi, we’re on a mission to transform addiction care: Making it more accessible, more personalized, and ultimately more effective. Our platform uses digital biomarkers like heart rate variability, sleep, and stress to detect high-risk moments during recovery. With the help of machine learning, we empower therapists to intervene early and support patients exactly when they need it most.

💼 What you’ll do at coobi:

• Design and maintain robust backend systems
• Define and optimize database schemas (Postgres or similar) to support real-time biomarker data and user interactions
• Build data pipelines for wearables and health apps, ensuring smooth ingestion and aggregation
• Improve the performance and reliability of our live product, including complex GraphQL queries and backend troubleshooting
• Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams to implement API interfaces that improve security, reliability and efficiency.

🤹 We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• A strong product mindset, a love for solving complex problems, and a willingness to take full ownership across the stack
• Experience building and scaling backend systems with Node.js, TypeScript and Postgraphile
• Deep understanding of GraphQL APIs and schema design
• Experience working with real-time biometric data through wearable APIs and SDKs
• Proficiency in structuring and querying relational databases (Postgres a plus)

✨ While not required, it’s a plus if you also have:

• Familiarity with React
• Familiarity with time-series or streaming data architectures
• Comfort navigating infrastructure and DevOps challenges
