We are looking for an Operations and Office Manager to join our team.

maze is an impact investment firm created by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 2013. We are an impact investment firm that offers financial and non-financial tools to everyone committed to delivering positive social and environmental outcomes.

Who are you?

• You care about our society and planet and want to work for an impact company.

• You have an academic background in accounting, business administration, or finance (or equivalent areas) or 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• You are comfortable interpreting financial statements and accounting documents.
• You have an eye for detail and enjoy making processes more efficient.
• You live in the Lisbon metropolitan area and are available to work from maze's office whenever necessary.
• You are fluent in Portuguese and English.

What can you expect from the job?

As an Operations and Office Manager you will be responsible for:

• Managing administrative, accounting, and financial management processes for maze.
• Managing administrative, legal, and financial processes for investments made by maze x, one of maze's impact investment vehicles.
• Managing HR processes.
• Managing suppliers, making purchases, and managing the office.
• Supporting in event organization.

This position is full-time and based in Lisbon. However, it is important to highlight that maze has a flexible work policy.

You will work directly with Rita (Partner and CFO of maze) and Margarida (Partner and HR Director), but you will also have regular close contact with the rest of the team, especially the maze x team.
