Your Role: Junior Pathway Specialist (Internship)
We’re looking for a Junior Pathway Specialist (Intern) to join our team and help us transform how healthcare is delivered. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and an interest in clinical processes and healthcare innovation, this is your opportunity to join a fast-growing startup and take part in shaping the future of care.
This role offers hands-on experience in creating, implementing, and testing clinical pathways within our products, contributing to our mission of delivering the best care to patients.
What You’ll Do
- Implement clinical pathways using the UpHill Suite of products.
- Ensure adherence to UpHill Notation and implementation standards.
- Perform manual testing on newly developed clinical pathways.
- Identify, replicate, and document atypical behaviors within clinical pathways.
- Contribute to the documentation of test descriptions and results.
- Learn and gradually apply automation testing techniques.
- Maintain an ongoing stream of medical content implementations.
- Produce, update, and ensure the quality of technical documentation for all content.
- Participate in internal meetings, contributing ideas for process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Eligible for an IEFP internship.
- Strong data architecture awareness and a data-driven mindset.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Coachable, proactive, and eager to learn new tools and skills.
Bonus Points For
- Experience developing automated tests.
- Familiarity with JSON file structures.
- Experience with relational (MySQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
- Knowledge of JavaScript.
- Familiarity with clinical terminology and healthcare market dynamics.
- Fluency in Spanish.
